Always thought meeting you was rare
But then you fell from heaven
and I didn't know a thing

and I hoped someday you'd see

Told you what I felt, it's still true

Things weren't really clear
so now I have this fear
that I'm wasting my time

This is the happiest song I've ever written, and I've got the chords to prove it.
No, seriously, it was already sickeningly sweet before I wrote music to go with it.
To be honest, I was still in my first crush (the star of the previous three songs) at the time, but I was hanging around this other girl to feel less down and more relaxed. Add a few (a few!?) embellishments here and there and you get this, I guess.
