Children of the Sun

When our lives turn to dust
And our minds turn to ash
That is when we begin to exist

When time seems to grind
To a soul-wrenching halt
Then you know what it is you have missed

You know life has only begun
So don't cry when we are all gone
Because we are all children of the sun
And it's never too dark to see
So don't dwell on what was to be
When you're lonely just remember me

Well, our points have been made
And our debts have been paid
And there's plenty left for us to save

All our deadly desires
All our secrets inside
Will be gone when we rise from our grave

You know life has only begun
So don't cry when we are all gone
Because we are all children of the sun
And it's never too dark to see
So don't dwell on what was to be
When you're lonely just remember me

Something greater than you can feel
Spinning life like it's a wheel
And it's never simply seemed quite so real
You know life has only begun
So don't cry when we are all gone
Because we are all children of the sun
