Bright Lights

On my way
I am trying to remember how
I ever got to make myself this way

I don't know
how I ended up like this,
I can't make heads nor tails of who I am today

Dim the lights
I don't wanna be seen in this mess
but I'll fight my way through days of of fire and doom

Hurry up
'cause though I'm never letting go of you
I hope I'll see the daylight someday soon

Bright lights, blinding me
Taking me down into a sea of nothing
Bright lights, burning me
I'm losing my mind when I can't see you
Bright lights, blinding me
Taking me down into a sea of nothing
Bright lights, killing me
When I finally want to stay

This is an example of me taking an instrumental piece of music I'd made and writing fitting lyrics. This song was also part of the original draft for the second Luna Ray album, which I canned because, like the first album, it was basically a rock band's music played through synthesizer, so there was no point to making it when I could play it with a band instead.
